Jen is a clinical/orthopedic massage therapist specializing in injury rehabilitation, temporo-mandibular joint disorders, scar tissue management, fascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, and several others. She trained in Chicago at The Soma Institute: National School for Clinical Massage Therapy, where she eventually returned to teach. Jen also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sign Language Interpretation, specializing in special education interpreting. Jen has worked with various practitioners, including chiropractors, physical therapists, and spine surgeons, as both a therapist and a medical assistant.
Jen believes that everyone should have a better understanding of their body, and how it functions, and therefore tends to educate her patients about what is causing their pain, and how other therapies and techniques can supplement massage therapy.
